Another example is Al Gore. This popular environmentalist and politician claim that one of the best steps that he has done for his health and for the environment is going vegan. Gore adopted the lifestyle as an experiment but as he progressed, he started loving its effects. He was also able to make a connection not only to health but also as a way to address environmental issues.
Pop star Ariana Grande started going vegan in 2013. In an interview with Mirror, she said, “I love animals more than I love most people, not kidding. But I am a firm believer in eating a full plant-based whole food diet, that can expand your life length and make you an all-around happier person.” No wonder this girl is chirpy and perky in almost all the time that we see her.

So, if you are wondering how he has managed to still look like he is in his early 20s at the age of 44, you can credit it to his healthy plant-based lifestyle.
And a discussion of veggie stars cannot exclude Paul McCartney. The famous musician has been a vegetarian since 1975. In an interview, the former Beatle said, “Many years ago, I was fishing and as I was reeling the poor fish, I realized, I am killing him- all for the passing pleasure it brings me. And something inside me clicked. I realized as I watch him fight for breath, that his life was as important to him as mine is to me.”
A discussion of vegan celebrities must also include singer-songwriter Jason Mraz. He takes a strong stance about protecting our environment, about animal rights, and LGBT issues.
