FLAX SEED CRACKER WITH NUTS AND HERBS

Here is a nut flax seed cracker variation that is very easy to make and very nutritious.  Our recipe includes nuts and herbs with golden and brown flax seeds.

FLAX SEED CRACKER WITH NUTS AND HERBS
Instructions
  1. Soak the flax seeds in the bowl with water for an hour. Make sure that the water level is about half an inch above the flax seed.
  2. Slice the nuts into smaller pieces. Soak the nuts in water for a few hours.
  3. Cut the onions and the herbs or use a food processor.
  4. Pour the water contents from the soaked flax seed and the soaked nuts.
  5. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
  6. Using a spatula, spread the mixture on a dehydrator sheet. Cut or separate the mixture according to your desired cracker sizes.
  7. Dehydrate for three to four hours in 115-125 degrees Fahrenheit.
  8. Flip to the other side when the top part is dry. Remove the dehydrator sheet.
  9. Dehydrate for five to seven hours or until the crackers are dry and crispy.
